    Partnering with you, I help you affirm your strengths, see what’s working well and clarify your values. Responding to powerful questions, you reframe your challenges as opportunities and gain insight into what’s keeping you up at night. You find solutions you had not thought of before and identify practical steps to move forward. If requested, I offer resources.

    In 4 sessions, you will be guided to turn your insights and ideas from the previous two segments into a detailed Beat Burnout Action Plan and timeline. You’ll specify how to defend against burnout and replace unhelpful habits with healthy, sustainable ones. With a supportive accountability partner, you’ll create strategies to keep you on track with your career goals as you reach for your dreams

  • Committed to positive social change without personal sacrifice, I’ve served the nonprofit and philanthropic world for over 30 years. I’ve been staff, board, consultant, volunteer, trainer and now coach. I “get” social sector organizations–the culture, idiosyncrasies and unique challenges. As a person, I am curious, empathetic and eager to engage authentically and learn from others. In my coaching with social sector leaders, I share stories from my long career. If appropriate, I might offer some of the lessons I’ve learned on my personal life journey. Clients appreciate my sense of humor and humility.

    I coach social change activists and other social sector leaders in a variety of situations. Some feel unsatisfied, nervous or stressed about their job, workplace and/or career. Some are new leaders who wish to become more confident and comfortable in their role. I help them become more willing to take risks without second-guessing themselves. I also support experienced leaders seeking to advance in their careers by addressing challenges blocking their progress and tackling growing edges.

  • As a supportive coach and nonjudgmental thought partner, I listen carefully and invite clients to identify what matters most to them and what resources they possess.

    By clarifying values and goals and appreciating their assets, insights about stumbling blocks and strategies to overcome them emerge. Leaders come away from the coaching sessions feeling more confident, optimistic and better equipped to take steps to realize their goals and manifest their dreams. The coaching relationship is relatively intimate and relies on mutual respect and trust.
